Hailsonde is a project to investigate the behavior of hailstones as they tumble and grow inside the cloud before the hail falls to the ground.

Measuring methane emission using UAVs
During 2019 and 2020, a team from Linköping University operated such a system and did measurements at the Linköping wastewater treatment plant (Tekniska verken) in Sweden over a dewatered sludge deposit of solid material, which are known to have high CH4 emissions.
